Memphis in March for Papa's Funeral

Papa, Jason's maternal grandfather, died and was buried in Memphis, TN.
It was so hard for all of us, but Jason most of all, he was so sad.
His Papa had been gone a long time because of Alzheimer Disease so we all went to say goodbye.

This was Papa's funeral.
The honor and respect shown for this war hero was beautiful and so overwhelming.

In opening parts of our hearts we had long closed,
joy came from the sadness in reconnecting with family.
It had been many years since seeing some of these family members.

Memphis cousins! The kids had so much fun playing together.
